Hey, hi everybody! How has your day been going?

I hope you've been having a great day today full of joy and adventures, and maybe if your lucky you learned something along the way, right?

Let me ask you a question. Do you believe in the true power of friendship? I used to not, but I do now. Do you know why? Because you never know when you will meet a new friend. You just have to open yourself to friendship and it will find you!

Next time you're out walking about, be sure to smile at a stranger and you just might find that they smile back at you! And you know what? When that happens, you've just made a new friend!

Are you ever board or down in the dumps? Well we all have those days. Here are some things you can do to turn your day around when that happens:

1. Smile at a stranger.
2. Smell a flower.
3. Lend a helping hand to a neighbor.
4. Help keep our parks and roads clean and free of debris!
5. Teach a child to ride a bike.
6. Go out and just give someone a BIG HUG!!!! :-)
7. Help a senior citizen cross the street or shop for groceries.
8. Find someone who looks lonely and offer to be their friend!
9. Plant a garden.
10. Organize a march for FRIENDSHIP!!!

Just try 1 of these things, and I guarantee it will brighten your day!
