Ancient forgotten roads

There are roads where the street lights have all gone out or were never there. The lines are gone, paved over long ago and not repainted. Surrounded by forests and chasms of bricks and concrete, they wind through the ancient lands. The roads are ancient. The signs old and neglected. They go to places which the eye does not see.
